ISG was recently selected by the United States Healthful Food Council (USHFC) to develop a Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the USHFC State of Tennessee Eat REAL Project which assesses and recognizes restaurants and foodservice establishments for their Responsible Epicurean and Agricultural Leadership.
The USHFC is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization dedicated to eliminating diet-related disease by increasing access to and consumption of healthful, affordable, and sustainable food and beverages. The USHFC programs include third-party verification of nutrition and sustainability best practices (REAL Certification), nutrition/recipe analysis, menu consulting/advisory services, and community and educational outreach campaigns.
ISG assisted USHFC to develop a Monitoring and Evaluation Framework to measure the effectiveness of current and planned programs and activities which also allows USHFC to access progress towards its objectives. The Framework also assisted in integrating reporting of USHFC’s activities into internal and external report mechanisms.
