Extension of UNDP M&E IMS Project

ISG has been awarded an extension of its M&E IMS Project with UNDP.

In January 2008 the Iraqi National Tuberculosis Program (NTP) started the implementation of a 5-year programme to fight Tuberculosis (TB) under a grant from Round 6 of the Global Fund to Fights AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM).

In order to track and monitor progress towards the program’s objectives, NTP gathers and manages data on the national, governorate and district levels. Data includes epidemiological, financial, procurement and M&E data.  The set up of a database on TB diagnostics, patients and treatment will allow for a new analysis of the stored information, and will provide a sound solution to a better data management and control system ensuring quality, accuracy, and comparability of data.

ISG was selected to design, develop and implement this database solution. The extension from UNDP will broaden the scope of available reporting within the IMS, add import and export functionalities and provide an interface to other, unrelated technology systems.
