The Achievement, Community, Employment Organization (ACE)

The goal of the Achievement, Community, Employment Organization (ACE), a project funded by the United States Department of State, is to serve as a catalyst for positive social and economic development in Erbil, Iraq. The trainings, mentorships and job-matching activities of ACE (formerly known as the Ainkawa Center for Employment) are designed to enhance marketable skills, connect people from all walks of life with each other for a constructive common purpose and be the catalyst for the creation of opportunities for job seekers and employers.

The positive social and economic developments sought as a result of ACE activities include increased social cohesion, a diversified and strengthened sense of community, a better-skilled workforce, a better qualified pool of job-seekers, and easier access between job seekers and employers.

IMPACT Iraq

The IMPACT Iraq program is a countrywide effort providing immediate action for vulnerable children and families. The program brings together a collection of organizations dedicated to helping the Iraqi people to rapidly deliver services in all 18 governorates in situations of extreme vulnerability.

The program utilizes a cutting edge information management system designed and developed by ISG that allows participating organizations to collect data on affected areas, analyze data in real time to find the most vulnerable communities, propose actions to address the situation and then measure the true impact of those actions.
