The United States Grains Council helped form and has worked with the Iraqi Poultry Producer Association (IPPA), which includes a ten person “steering committee” and 42 member companies with combined production capacity accounting for more than 65% of total operating production, since 2004.

In late 2006, the IPPA decided to create a Center for Poultry Excellence as a response to a need for keeping its members in touch with each other, even though they are now scattered throughout Iraq and Jordan. The centerpiece of this center is a videoconferencing system that allows members of the Association to hold meetings and topical seminars regularly.

ISG was selected to procure all equipment and services for the installation and operation of the videoconferencing system, and installed the system in offices in Washington DC, Amman, Jordan and Erbil, Iraq.
